As Charles LiMandri and Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund continue to protect the rights of JONAH and other organizations that are being pressured to stop helping homosexuals who seek counseling, we need your support and prayers.
The most anticipated and critical religious liberty trial has begun. What is being dubbed as the Trial of the Century, the JONAH trial is underway and is expected to last three to four weeks. It has gained the national attention it deserves, as we stop SPLC from bullying yet another organization.
Recently, Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund asked for your prayers as Charles LiMandri traveled to New Jersey for a hearing on the pre-trial evidentiary motions in the precedent-setting JONAH case.
If you have been following the headlines and our last FCDF Update, there has been no shortage of activity concerning attacks on religious liberty. We have some great news to report though with respect to Patricia Jannuzzi, the New Jersey Catholic school teacher who was attacked in the media by gay activists for posting on Facebook Catholic teaching regarding homosexuality.
Religious Liberty Quote of the Week:
"Where religion prevails...a nation cannot be made slaves... To destroy us therefore, in this dreadful sense, our enemies must first destroy our Sabbath and seduce us from the house of God... Without religion we may possibly retain the freedom of savages, bears, and wolves, but not the freedom of New England. If our religion were gone, our state of society would perish with it and nothing would be left which would be worth defending."
Yale President Rev. Timothy Dwight preached in a discourse on July 4, 1798
